Hi I’m Marthese, and have been working as a Tour Manager for British Tour Companies for the past 20 years and have accompanied groups to South Africa since 2001. I have had the pleasure of working with Laurence on several occasions and I must say that he is one of the best guides I have worked with. His knowledge of South Africa is extremely vast and covers all aspects of South African life, from history to nature.

We travel long distances, as our tours touch on many different areas of South Africa including Johannesburg, Kruger Park Hluhluwe, Swaziland, Durban, Port Elizabeth Tsitsikama National Park, Oudtshoorn, Knysna to Cape Town and Laurence’s ability to entertain the group is superb, filling the often protracted gaps with very interesting stories and anecdotes about the indigenous people of Africa, not to mention the funny jokes he comes up with! He is a lovely good nature man, and this is clearly reflected in his ability to make clients relax and enjoy their time even when the long distance journeys are sometimes very tiring.

I would recommend him as a guide to everyone who wants to enjoy South Africa to the full.
